As part of the project, informational signs will be installed in the immediate vicinity of selected historical monuments; these signs will feature a visual outline map etched onto a glass panel. The map depicts the historical appearance of the monuments and is positioned to provide a view of the monument’s current state. The historical and current views thus overlap. The sign’s design also includes a 3D model of the monument. Smart features, such as a visitor counter, are integrated into the sign. For signs located near bike trails, basic bicycle repair tools are also provided. The final and precise design of the sign was developed as part of a project carried out at the TnUAD FabLab Creative Center, which is fully equipped with technical instruments and capable of designing, test, and manufacture the sign.
