Open creative workshops for individuals (non-entrepreneurs)

One of the first services we are launching in the real operation of the FabLab Creative Center is access to creative workshops and KC FabLab spaces. This includes the possibility of using technologies with professional assistance and, after training for selected technologies, also independently. The service also includes the use of indoor and outdoor meeting rooms and coworking spaces + use of reception services (printing, scanning, kitchenette, etc.).

SIMPLE REGISTRATION PROCESS

Become a member of the creative community

Fill out the application
Fill out the application for KC FabLab membership based on the "open creative workshops" open call.
Health and Safety and rules
Familiarization with the KC FabLab operating regulations and Health and Safety rules.
Technical manuals
Familiarization with the technical manuals of selected equipment the member plans to work with.
Membership fee
Payment of the membership fee (in the case of paid membership versions).
Protective equipment
Securing recommended protective equipment or recommended consumables.

TnUAD student & employee

Basic membership for the university community

  • Target group: Students, doctoral students, and TnUAD employees (individuals)
  • Membership fee: Free of charge
  • Scope of services: Full support for the pedagogical process and final theses
  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year / duration of employment

Partner student & teacher

Support for partner secondary schools and universities

  • Target group: Students and employees of partner schools (individuals)
  • Membership fee: Individual, upon agreement between institutions
  • Scope of services: Support for student work and projects
  • Duration: As agreed

Blue membership

Affordable creativity for individuals

  • Target group: Individuals – non-entrepreneurs
  • Membership fee: €130* (voucher option available)
  • Scope of services: 3h/week assisted access, 8h/week technologies + facilities
  • Duration: 3 months

Green membership

Maximum space for your ideas

  • Target group: Individuals – non-entrepreneurs
  • Membership fee: €260* (voucher option available)
  • Scope of services: 6h/week assisted entry, 16h/week technology + workshop
  • Duration: 4 months

*The fee can be covered via a so-called Creative & Partner voucher (granted by KC FabLab based on agreed mutual cooperation).

Availability and staffing of professional assistance

As part of opening our creative workshops for KC FabLab members as well as for participants of the technological accelerator and incubator services, we have scheduled available times and staffing of technologists and professional assistance for creative technologies in the workshops starting from 04/2024.

KC FabLab operates on the FabLab (Fabricant Laboratory) platform, offering open creative workshops equipped with technologies for creative craftsmanship with various materials. This is also the primary service provided, which is available through individual membership levels at KC FabLab.
